 The article on knitters chronicle climate change, explains how knitters used different colors of yarn to represent various temperatures. The different colors  result in really cool “ temperatures scarves “  that serve to raise awareness of global warming. I think that the temperature scarves are another great idea of using yarn and knitting and again a fun way to start a conversation. The article talks about how you could just show people charts graphs and data of climate change but that just doesn’t appeal to everyone. Personally I don’t think charts make much of an impression on me, while I’m sure that seeing a knitted scarf would be a better way to draw my attention! These articles have shown how creative some people can be with yarn and knitting.. something I used to think of as boring. It’s definitely not!
