After reading the articles, something that caught my attention was the knitting for climate change. I thought it was a pretty neat idea that they had certain colors for certain temperatures that day and so forth. By them knitting the temperatures, this was more of a in your face example than the people just stating facts about climate change. They actually had raw data to show for their reasonings behind what they were thinking. Then with the second article, the grannies protested peacefully but also got out and went to stand their ground. This article also made me think about the conversation we had today with people viewing knitting as an elder white woman hobby. But as I look at the pictures from the second article that's all that appears to be protesting and if not all the vast majority.
