This reading was very inspiring. I really enjoyed how much it showed symbolism of the yarn's nature and how it also connects to the person. It is also amazing to see how the quilts and yarn's symbolism can correspond with the HIV crisis. Through photos that were taken can’t really give a powerful message of the effect that this disease has on some people. The article allows people with HIV to get in more humanizing direct. It also allowed us to learn a little more about the disease than most people do not know. This really inspired me in many ways. By seeing how craftivism brings a lot of attention to issues helps light a fire within me to want to do something.
