Before this reading I had never heard of activism for HIV/AIDS aside from what I have heard partially. I am glad to see that Bronner was able to bring awareness through his photographs and others in through knitting. I love the candle light vigil that was held for the individuals who have died from AIDS and the Project AIDS Memorial Quilt in which was made with the intent of countering shame and keeping the individuals who have passed because of the disease identity anonymous.
