The first paragraph of the reading about the aids quilt grabbed my attention right off the bat. The colorful quilt surrounding the dead body was described as colorful and loud. It also had various patterns on the rest of the bed as well. The author says that Bronson became more life-like towards even his last days due to the fact that he was surrounded by beautiful colors and patterns.  Also, I kinda dug deep into the fact that life, cloth, and death are all interwoven. This is true because when we are alive we wear certain colors, usually bright colors, that show off life. While in death and mourning we wear black. Bright colors continue to grab the attention of the human eye every day. That is why the aids quilt is so colorful to help bring awareness to the disease and to keep people's attention on trying to find a cure.
