1. Entrepreneurship throughout history has been influenced by the need for manual labor, the economic systems that are present, the lack of safety, and the need for weaponry. In the present, safety and public health with COVID-19 has influenced entrepreneurship with the closure of startups. An individual factor that has affected entrepreneurship includes poverty because of the difficulty obtaining the necessary resources to start a venture.
2. The individual factors that influence my entrepreneurial opportunity include household net worth and location. Being a college student, I have taken out loans to pay for school. I would have to save or borrow money in order to fund my venture. Currently I am living in Birmingham, AL. However, I would like to start my venture in a city near the gulf coast. This location difference comes in the way because I will have to relocate. As for the societal factors, high taxes or limitations on private property would influence my opportunity.
