Two societal factors that have influences entrepreneurship throughout history is the concern for public health and manual labor productivity. Public health crisis have typically resulted in a decrease in entrepreneurship but also show potential to create new opportunities. Innovation within manual labor is necessary for economic productivity. An example of this is transitioning from manual labor to animal labor, and eventually technology-enabled labor.   1. Identify both individual and societal factors that would impact your own personal pursuit of an entrepreneurial opportunity today.

One societal factor I would take into consideration is poverty/subsistence. While poverty is not a true component of individual entrepreneurial thinking, it limits individuals for time and resources. Often those in financial turmoil do not have the time to evaluate opportunities or collect resources to exploit those opportunities.  I believe the factor of location is fairly important to entrepreneurship because location can often determine many company or business goals or ideas. Location can directly affect customers, costs, and staff.
