1. I am currently a sophomore political science major, and I intend on pursing law school once I graduate from BSC. I think an important aspect of entrepreneurial thinking is jumping at the chance of opportunities, which is something my professor/advisor has been very adamant about. He is always encouraging me to reach out to firms and establish connections. Also, my ultimate goal is to establish my own law firm one day and having a big goal like that requires drive and motivation.
2. Often times there are failures along the process, but that does not mean there will be failure in the big picture. If you evaluate someone at this stage, you may misjudge them. You may disregard someone because of this, but you could be missing their ultimate success in the end. For example, if an entrepreneur is looking for an investor and are not doing do great, that investor may choose not to fund them. It requires faith and risk when starting up a new business
3. As I said, my ultimate goal is to have my own law firm, but there are many steps before reaching that goal. I want to first (1) work as an intern at a law firm (2) Take the LSAT in order to get into a good law school (3) go to law school (4) work at a firm. I think first test-taking skill development will be a big one because I am required to take the LSAT. Need for achievement because it will require a lot of hard work and dedication. And finally patience because my plan my not go exactly as I envision.
