Ghosh illustrated that from earlier generations it's their fault for not being responsible with regulating their environment so that global warming would be less of an issue. Now we have to deal with that outcome for years to come, maybe even forever. He also calls for leaders and scientists to work on this issue, for a better future and restore the earth to what it once was before pollution was a big issue.

I remember this story about how polluted Birmingham was decades ago. It was so polluted to where people would get sick often, and they had to fix it. Not only was the overall health of Birmingham better, but the sky was a lot better. Just like when the pandemic hit and everyone had to go home, the pollution slowed down because not as many people were working and in return from less pollution the clearer the skies were just like in LA. And I 100% agree with Ghosh and now it is our responsibility to restore our planet for the good of not only of Humanity and Mankind, but for all of nature as a whole.
