In Facing Floods in the Middle Ages, it says, “People of the past have experienced traumatic, world-changing weather disasters, and regular, seasonal crises.” The article goes on to explain a few times where the weather has either been bad, or water has been limited. It is interesting because when it talks about what seems to be a bad tornado, they take shelter and during that, someone says “waited there trembling, thinking that the last judgement was at hand.” To them, an intense storm meant the end up the world, and that it was their time to see their creator. Today, we would see this tornado/flood as a typically part of Spring weather. It’s only during a different season that we would find it to be even more terrible.

When it comes to Noah’s Ark, God had a limited amount of people make it onto the ark. Those people then had to rebuild and repopulate the earth. Out of all the people, how was it chosen who would make it on the ark. Was it the people who sinned the least that would be chosen to rebuild? As for everyone who died, did they get to automatically go into heaven as if it were like the final judgment? Did anyone believe they were dying for their faith?
