I find ecofeminism views as a very interesting way as to see not only how women should role in society as well as nature. Although like as discussed in the article, it did not surprise me that religion would caused some oppression or discrimination. As we discussed a few weeks ago, we already established that Christianity is harmful towards nature. Especially when it comes to women, Christianity was a religion where men were more dominate and women have to be submissive or else they would go to hell.
When it comes to being ecofeminist, its almost the same as being humanist. Both of their principles and views are that no human is superior to any form of life especially animals. And they both encourage diversity and help nature and the earth. Since Ecofeminism is an idea that shapes how women should role as in an effort to cherish the earth, this is a step in the right direction in how we can have a better relationship between ourselves and nature.
