1.     We are working in the electric car industry focusing on the simplification of the market.

2.      There is a lack of dealership access.

a.     There are small numbers of effective chargers.

b.     High priced cars due to lack of mass production

3.     Anyone looking to drive an electric car but has not due to difficulties in the market place

a.     Another example would be businesses who often use cars and waste money on gas, but electric car prices are to luxurious.

4.     No access to dealerships leads to losses in a huge market population. A lot of people would like to drive a car before spending $50K on it.

a.     The cheapest Tesla is 37,000 dollars. While this is not mind boggling this is the bare minimum of what Tesla has to offer. This could drive people away.

b.     Example with charging is there are 7 sufficient chargers in the state of Alabama. This could drive people away.

5.   “Automakers may have completely overestimated how many people want electric cars”

According to this article over 14 million electric cars will be over produced by 2030. I think this problem could be solved by dealerships. I think so many people think an electric car is totally different. And there is this stereotype that electric cars are weaker. This is just not true. The more people we can get trying out electric cars in a dealership parking lot, the more people we will hook.

6.     We can learn quickly enough, but we need to more understand the difference in building electric and gas cars, ie why has no one mass produced one yet?

a.     Yes, we will continue with this idea.
