When first looking at the Egg of the Universe illumination I was taken
aback by how similarly it looked to the female anatomy. Upon further reading no
mention of this resemblance is brought up but then I couldn’t help but read the
vision interpretations as regarding the female body. I think this says
something about the birth of the world that life came from a woman and this
would in turn circle back to our reading about Gia and Ecofeminism. I think its
also important to note that she does not use any man-made objects to paint the
image in our minds, she’s describing it with natural elements like wind, fire,
air, and rock.
