The term Viriditas means to find God in all things. Hildegard describes this term in means of "greening" or possibly finding God is my implication. When I think of someone being green it means to be new and full of like and ready to learn and soak in all of the nutrients to grow like knowledge in God for example. Hildegard's interpretation was addressing the newness of God's creations. She had these thoughts very naturally through poetry, visions, and music. When I think of Hildegard I think of a healing and caring woman. And someone that heals others uses natural green herbs and natural medicine, therefor I see her in this green ora or light and someone who just represents greenness as a whole because in texts and the podcast she seems all-knowing and wise.

All things good that Hildegard describes are green or represent greenness. Just like in her vulva-shaped vision there was not much greenness going on but there were black, reds, and yellows that were described as sin or murder. When Hildegard talks about "the aroma of holiness" that these people radiate greenness of flowers and herbs just like the summer does. This makes me think about good people that we have in our lives whether they be friends or family or even just people that give off great vibes. This is what I believe when Hildegard is talking about when people have greenness or viriditas.
