After reading Hildegard II, I was really amazed on the way she connected such an odd picture to our creation and the power of God. One thing that really stood out to me was how God is seen to be part of the fire along with Jesus and the angels how these figures are known for like for anything but evil yet they are represented through fire which just fire destroys things it doesn't create. In her picture thought the fire is what holds and keeps things going.
In this article Dadosky, uses Hildegard's writings and messages from Pope Francis and relates them to climate change and the need for action by Christians to protect God's creation. He mentions towards the end of the article about stewardship of the Earth and I agree that is almost a duty of Christians to protect God's creation.
