Here is my Synopsis
Sorry for the late response. I didn't realize some students were responding to their own posts in Moodle.
This version has a much stronger structure in the first two acts. Here is what I identify as the paradigm:
Beginning: Architect student Greg arrives in Rome, falls in love with Marcus
PP1: Greg sees Marcus kiss a girl and feels betrayed, but tries to distance himself
- Greg builds Marcus' gallery
MP: Greg accidentally kills a man, tries to flee
- not much else in Act 2 that I can identify
PP2: Marcus follows Greg on the train
Climax: still weak
Resolution: Greg and Marcus stay together
To help me fill in these holes, what exactly does Marcus do that makes Sara not trust him?
Do we ever see Marcus kill? This might be something we see in the second half of Act 2. But in Act 1, set up the fact that the authorities and media are reporting missing people or dead victims around the city.
What is the final confrontation? It should be obvious to you that Act 3 is lacking.

We can discuss the details of Act 2-3 & PP2 during our meeting
