As I mentioned in class, I've updated the syllabus to scooch around a few deadlines around One Act selections/audition conversations to give you all more time with your one acts. I just re-uploaded the syllabus with the updated course calendar. Please let me know if you have any questions or need support looking for directing options!
As a reminder, today we floated the following parameters:
- 10-15 minutes in performance.
- Ideally 2-3 actors; if you're wanting more, we'll need to check in with the casting needs of the collective. (1 actor is also acceptable if you find a one-person show that floats your boat.)
- No restrictions in terms of genre, style, etc., but it shouldn't be something you're having to write or devise on your own.
If you have a compelling reason you'd like us to revisit any of these requirements, please raise it in the next class or two. As you find shows and think you're settling in on options, please check in with me if you have any questions!
