The website I chose for this assignment is Warby Parker due to the positive impact they have created on the eyecare industry. For example, for every pair of glasses sold by Warby Parker, they donate a pair of glasses to someone in need. Within their website underneath the "History" tab, they state, "... we work with a handful of partners worldwide to ensure that for every pair of glasses sold, a pair is distributed to someone in need. To date, over eight million pairs of glassers have been distributed through our Buy a pair, Give a Pair program." Along with this, they offer eye exams and accept 11 different types of insurance for all those that need glasses. Warby Parker is a great place to shop for glasses especially considering they tend to offer cheaper alternatives than other brands. They not only sell in person, but online and because they design and produce all of their own products, they sell for cheaper than other companies.
