Likewise, what is his arc? It sounds like Dave is the active character who makes the deal happen. Perhaps, the dramatic need is to get money (are they selling drugs to dealers?). But the bigger picture is for the band to figure out their group dynamic. If Billy can let go of some of his control issues, the band might flourish.
Still, with the drug plot, I don't see how the audience will get a chance to understand much about the band. It's only a 3-5 minute film.
