Teachers

I had a one main thought running through my mind as I watched the first video. This thought was how many schools can grant a student like the one in the video that is blind, a teacher or tutor that will teach them braille while they are at the school? A better way to ask this would be what percentage of public schools can offer this to children with a visual disability? The reason why I was thinking this was because I am all for blind kids going to typical schools instead of special schools because it prepares them for their future lives better. If the public schools in the area where the kid lives can't supply a tutor for them, they may end up needing to go to a special school.

I think you brought up great points, having certain kids with a disability involved in typical schools can really benefit their livelihood and help teach them new skills. I think it would be wonderful for kids with disabilities to attend public schools if they were offered help. I don't think most schools have the resources for that which is sad because we talk about integrating non-typical and typical students.
