The movie School daze is a geat film and even though this was my first time watching this movie I really liked school daze because it displayed a lot of good points dealing with segregation but more of the problems on how they affect cultural and personal beliefs also , school daze was filmed on a college campus which is knowingly a place where a lot of people come together from different places in order to better themselves and get a greater education to hopefully get better job or etc. so as the movie went on you noticed people of similar color mentally and sometimes physically attacked the opposing people which were in this case lighter colored people or darker colored people due too there appearance and belief. One group felt as if change was okay to fit in and one group felt like they shouldn't have to change their natural beauty in order to fit in. this movie was great because it showed views from both sides and wasn't biased at all, i also really enjoyed this movie because it taught you a great lesson within the great movie, know one has the power or dignity to judge anyone everyone should be able to be themselves without any problems and ones hair skin color or looks shouldn't hinder them in the life that we live in , i also liked this film because spike lee is one of the most influential and amazing black film makers, he puts exactly how he feels in certain films despite how they look to others and i think that is very important because at the time and day that he started , colored people work wasn't valued nowhere as near as much
