Angela Bassett shares similarities to Joan Crawford's career. Both actresses played their roles with a bit of an edge to them. They were also described as being too broad, theatrical and they both tend to overwork their eyes and mouths. Both Crawford and Bassett play their roles intensely and are almost too dramatic according to Bogle. Both actresses have a layer of anger to them. This could be the result of how they have to prove themselves in the industry that they work in.

Denzel Washington is an actor that I need really paid much attention to. However I did develop a respect for him. Denzel Washington would continue to have a backbone the movie role he had. Washington’s characters are an upgraded version of Sidney Poitier’s characters. Instead of having Poitier’s honest men restraining himself for the sake of integration, we have Washington’s character as representations of men living in an open society.

Good topics to discuss, but both these paragraphs are too short. It's not that difficult to follow directions and complete these response assignments.
