In the early 1990s some factors that created Hollywood to embrace more black directors was due to the fact that more blacks were coming on the scene , in past time most black visuals in film were made fun of and mocked but at this time some blacks were able to start to give a better picture from their point of view which also created a wider audience, it would also help that blacks are seen as they are actually getting represented instead of just displayed as mockery or laughter for others. I feel that Hollywood started to realize that talent is talent and having positive black directors that’s able to express themselves will bring more people of all kinds to its audience for different reasons. A 1990s film that I think has a black aesthetic is Friday , I believe so because Friday is based off a black family and has a few problems throughout the movie that typically “hood” Family’s go through due to the fact it was filmed in a lower income community where grown ups are still living with there parents , stealing, fighting and lack of maturity through out the decisions made throughout the film.

Some good thoughts here. It looks like this was the prompt for the previous week. And, it's a little too short. Try to add some more personal reaction and comparisons between films and filmmakers from past decades or more recent times.
