I absolutely loved this movie. It has to be by far my favorite filmed we have watched in this class. Having an entirely diverse leading cast of powerful women gave this film the strong stance it needed to be incredible. I have never gotten to see Queen Latifah in a more serious leading role gave me such a deeper appreciation for her as an actress. I have only ever gotten to see her in comedic roles used to just leading the audience into laughter. The way this film started off as a simple crime film with women who were held back and beaten down by the world around them and then completely switched over to a crime film centered around them and their attempt to get back at the world made me fully invested. There was not a second where I was zoned out or uninterested. Even the reviews of this film are good which is something I have not seen on a large portion of the films we have gotten to watch. I want to see more from these actresses and will be looking into more from them.

A little short (minimum is 200 words). But I'm happy you liked the film. I had never seen it myself, and I was pleased with a lot of it.
