A black female actress that I am going to choose to discuss is Queen Latifa, I chose queen Latifa because she was one of the first black woman that created a huge jump for black actresses and music artist. Queen Latifa was so different To me because she doesn’t really care how people looks at her due to her scene and she gives it her greatest ability. Queen Latifa first Film was in 1991 and she took off, she played different roles with different genders and played them to the tee. Something that was different for queen Latifa was also her style and look, everyone is beautiful to me but as that time most famous black actress had the Halle berry or model look which simply led them far. Queen Latifa opened the doors for many actresses and showed people that you don’t have to have a certain size And look to be a successful female actress. Queen Latifa is still to this day one of the most versatile woman actress she varies from gay, lover girl , race car driver and as we seen last week a bank robber. It’s not many woman in the industry that is versatile as the queen.
