I would like to learn more about how poverty and homelessness impacts each family member differently. After reading No Place and seeing how each character processed what was going on differently, I wanted to know the research behind it. Research shows that the male parental figure will show a lot of shame and signs of depression when his family is in poverty. This was evident with Dan's dad in No Place. I am interested to learn what is common for the female parental figure, the oldest child, the youngest child, a single parent, etc...
