The use of space was great. The nervousness in Nadia’s voice contrasted great with the like annoyance in prices voice. They had great eye contact at the end
1. Nadia's character and Price's character were both really played well by them. The relationship dynamic is obvious, you can tell one is very anxious and antsy and the other is just very laid back, but also seems a little bit like "don't care" attitude.

3. I could hear them consistently even when they shifted and faced away from us at times.

1) Nadia does a really good job giving off a nervous energy and Price does a really good job at giving off tired, uninterested vibes. They also used the space really well.
2) Does Nadia work in their apartment or are they in a dance studio?
3) I could see and hear them and it felt like a realistic conversation. They used the space really well and gave themselves plenty of spaces to go and things to do.

Nadia and Price
I think Nadia played off of Price's responses really well and I liked the use of the ballet bar.
Why do you go back to practicing after getting rejected?
I felt like they could have more chemistry and make it believable that they are a couple.

Stretching was effective
Very energized while sunday is just laying on couch = engaging
Moving all over while and standing awkwardly looking and moving around space
Quiet hurry up was effective - not caring
Using the barre to ignore sunday was really useful
Using piano to point out sunday usually ignores her
Body language really pointed out who cared

Nadia and Price
I think the way you all are relating to each other in physical space at teh top makes a lot of sense?
Is this typical of the way they interact with each other?
Why does Nia bring up that they want Sunday to say they love her more, then why do they backpedal?
Why does Sunday go for “are you that confident” instead of something like “it’s too early” or something?
How/is Sunday invested in this relationship? Why do they blow Nia off the whole time and then push her to talk to them when they stop?
Where are the moments in the scene where we have a chance to see what’s good about this relationship? When and how can we understand why they’re together in the first place?

(originally was bullet points)
Nadia sometimes I couldnt see you
The put down and the just casual dream crushing of Sunday is really really effective
There is so much tension here and dynamic that i think could be explored a little more but at the same time theres some really effective big personalities
Nadia; do you have dance experience or someone you could observe?

sad girl hours: Nadia & Price
The stretching at the beginning is such a dancer stretch to do at home. Price’s yawn and being on his phone showed how his character is much more chill and laid back than Nadia’s. Nadia, when your face fell, I could just feel that disappointment. Nadia, look at those pointed toes and using the ballet bar is good use of what’s there. There were clear physical contrasts with how Nadia kept moving and it almost seemed a nervous energy or that she constantly moves, but Price was on the couch the entire time.
Nadia, what kind of dancer is your character? What styles does she dance, and are there any that she doesn’t like to do? Why did Price even try out for this college?
I could hear both of you, and I could see both of you.

1. they both had great movement and use of the space. Their body language seemed very organic. The blocking was very effective and I could hear them well.

3.I could hear and see them consistently. They were listening but it could have been more and Nadia did a great job giving herself something to do.

1) The energy needed was there. They have a good stage presence together.
2) What are some tasks you could assign your characters to do to assist in making sure the audience can see your faces the whole time?
3) Could consistently hear and understand the scene

The blocking was super effective.
2) What questions do you have for the performer?
Does Price’s character want to carry on with the relationship? Couldn’t feel any romantic chemistry.

Maybe Nadia, when you are practicing/stretching, you could do more “ballet-like” exercises. Play with at what point is there the most energy in the scene or the climax.

1. body gestures - back and forth between the characters - hand gestures - using the space - different tonalities and delivery - facial expressions
2. No
3. I was able to hear them very clearly and see them really well. Space was used really well and the dialogue between them was really smooth they were talking and listening to each other
