Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was a really great worthy sequel to the highly acclaimed original Black Panther film. That being said, there is no real reason to compare these two because of the semi-different direction the film takes now that Shuri is the Black Panther due to Chadwick Boseman’s tragic passing. I felt they delt with his passing in such a respectful manner. The grief feels real because it really is. All the actors who played these characters and Ryan Coogler were all close to Chadwick so the grief and tears that are shown are real. Overall, I thought the story was very solid and had pretty great action. I did not love the final Iron heart suit nor the midnight angle armor, but hopefully those will be fixed in future projects. It was cool to see people at the theater dressing up in white African funeral clothing. I was glad to see that even with the tragic loss of Chadwick Boseman the film was still important to the black community. Great writing and acting overall. I loved Namour and their dynamic with Shuri, especially their final fight, so well done. I thought the final scene/post credit scene with Shuri and Nakia on the beach was just beautiful from an acting and visual standpoint. I don’t think Letitia Wright can ever be as big as Chadwick Boseman, but I hope people give her more of a chance.

Re: Black Panther Wakanda Forever - Extra Credit response
Thanks for this review. Others who have written about it were not as positive. I still haven't seen it but plan to over the break.
