I usually start winding down for bed at about 10:30 Pm. Once I get into bed, I lay there and get comfortable before I start to meditate. When I am meditating, I think about my day and what I have done on that day. This process will normally take about 5 minutes of active meditation. When I am near the end of the process, I will throw out everything that I did today and look at what I have the following day. After this, I will open my eyes to get me out of the feeling of meditation and then I will normally fall asleep shortly after that.
