Before I went to bed, I laid in a comfortable position and focused on my breathing. As time went on, I seemed to become very relaxed and felt if I was sinking into my bed. After doing this for a couple nights, I felt that I fell asleep faster. I would also stay asleep throughout the night, but I'm not sure if it was because of the meditation or the long week filled with school and baseball.
I would agree with you in that I definitely felt more relaxed after focused breathing sessions. However, I don’t know if I slept better or not because of it or from other external circumstances. But I can definitely conclude that it helps bring calmness and in diminishing anxious thoughts.
