Forum week of April 27
You're all now experts in chivalry, so what do you notice about the way knights and chivalric culture are represented in the novel? Who seems to be the most chivalric figure? Is King Arthur's court a good example of a chivalric court? And how does the Green Knight fit into all of this chivalry business anyway?
The plot twist! Were you surprised (why or why not)? What did you think of Gawain's response to the big revelation--did you think he responded appropriately as a knight should?
