In this forum, you will introduce yourself to your instructor and classmates.

Here is what to do:

1.) "Add a new discussion topic" by clicking the blue box below.

2.) Type your first and last name in the "Subject" box. If you go by a name that is not your first name, then put the name you go by in parentheses. For example, if my cat Lily were doing this exercise, she would type: Lilianna (Lily) Valenti

3.) Click the small black video camera in the tool bar of the Message box and record a video of yourself with your introduction. The max time is 2 minutes, but your introduction does not have to take that much time. Please include as much of the information below as you'd like. There are no wrong or dumb answers Just help everyone get to know you a little better!

• name (i.e., the name you go by), your year (e.g., junior), and your pronouns (if you'd like)
• a musician/band, tv show, movie and/or book you have enjoyed recently
  
• favorite snack food
• fill in the blank: My best friends would describe me as: ________.
• your current thoughts about having to take this course (you can be honest, I've heard it all before!)

4.) Once you've stopped your recording, you can watch it by clicking the play button. You can re-record it if it isn't to your liking and when you're satisfied with your video, click "Attach". Please know that attaching your recording to your post may take a minute, depending on your internet speed, but once it says "100% complete" just click "Post to forum" and you're done.
