Award winning local minority business owner, Vivian Mora has a long history of helping the Latino
community in Alabama. Celebrating the Hispanic Heritage Month, this presentation will cover her
multicultural upbringing, multiple careers in education, television, non-profit organizations, and
successful insurance business. During her lecture we will learn about the Latino community in the area,
their inner workings, how they interact with other members of the community, and what they contribute
to our state. She will cover social, cultural and business aspects through her first-hand experience.
