I chose the color scheme from Henry Selick's 2009 film Coraline and Todd Phillips' 2019 film The Joker. I found it interesting that both movies have similar color patterns, using a mix of warm and cool colors to create the mood of the films. The subtle use of orange against the different shades of blues generates the anxious aspect of each movie.

    Wow, it's so fascinating to me that these two seemingly opposite end of the spectrum movies used such similar color themes. I do agree, though, that both of these movies suspend the audience in a particular eery anxiety. It appears as if orange and blue tones mixed together with the right contrast can set a mood of anxiety or suspicion of the plot.
