Color Scheme
We can all attest to the importance of color in our everyday lives and I think we can even all admit that color can effect our moods. However, did you know that certain colors or color combinations can make us more optimistic? Green and pink, when combined, has this exact effect. In two separate experiments these colors enhanced happy face recognition and impaired sad face recognition. Pink and green will prove an effective color combination to any brand that aims to make there customers content and cheery. This scheme would be particularly effective in marketing towards the youths. I bet things like candy, sweets, and toys would greatly benefit from this combination of colors.
