The logo for the EDM group Jauz is a great example of an artful yet simple and memorable design that clearly and explicitly communicates the band's title and trademark sound. The font, featuring sharp edges and protruding 3D lettering, reflects pulsating bass and incisive rhythms. Its form in the shape of sharp fangs reinforces the dark, underground sound and effectually forces the consumer to process the band's name twice before looking away. The general eccentricity and asymmetrical symmetry further suggest experimentation with sound. In the rendering shown, the band ingeniously includes the striking image of a shark swimming through the lettering, prompting a third subconscious inventory by the consumer. Jauz effectively extends the shark and fangs motif across many of their albums covers, inviting the cult following that eccentric bands rely on for discovery by labels.

I agree with Robert. The name of the band becomes the logo itself, making it a easily identifiable logo to those who know the band and an attention grabber to those who dont.
