Should have read this post before the other one. Tell me more about your book, is it old-time fantasy? More modern/technological fantasy? Post-apocalyptic fantasy? The setting you choose is as important as the genre - I'm getting an older, runic feel from this one, but it could also apply to the other ages as well.
Horizon Zero Dawn's title is a great example on how to balance settings and genres. The characters are basically cavemen - but they're hunting robots. We don't know *when* the game happens until much later, but the title references both the technology and caveman components of the story.
