I really like this graphic because it has a colorful yet warm feel. Th background color is dull and allows for easy reading of the Black font but the color on the poster seems to pop out on the brownish background. It draws your attention to the middle where the font is while also flowing from top to bottom. I think in my design I want to have a basic background color that isn't overwhelming but also have splashes of color that catch your eye and guide you through the design.

    This is dope.  I love how retro this looks and how many details there are in the poster.  I think it communicates enough at first glance, by supplying the name of the event, general theme/reason, and a location, but keeps you entertained if you choose to scan over it for longer.

    This is really dope! It gives your eyes a course to follow while also playing on whimsical themes and ultimately communicating to you the main facets of the design's purpose: film, diversity, talent.
