Exploring Usability Design

An app that I think is very user friendly is Instacart. Currently I am working for them and it is beyond easy on my end to find trips to do. My aunt uses it because she has four kids and can't leave her house in a time like this. On her end it is very simple, they select all the groceries they need with how many of each product and then they submit it with their location and set the desired time to receive the groceries and that is it. Shoppers like myself select which trip we want to do, receive the list, shop, and deliver. It is a great way to make money in a pandemic like this. I know my aunt really enjoys the app because she doesn't have to leave her house at all.

How does the delivery/driver side of the app differ from the shopper side? Can you post screenshots of each?

I've heard a lot of people say the same thing about apps like Uber and Shipt - even though they don't have a whole lot of benefits for drivers other than paychecks, the apps are generally very easy to use.

So since I posted this I got hired at Shipt and actually like it a lot better! So the first image is from my POV, it is super easy to follow, they even give you example texts to send and once you get all of the items it walks you through every step. The second image is what it looks like from the customers POV, they select the store and can search items to put in their cart. It puts it in its respective category so it is easy for me to find.

I had never heard of instacart. Which app did you prefer (design wise) shipt or instacart?
