I like the layering effect of characters in Marvel movie posters like Avengers: Inifinity War or any Star Wars poster.  I think it can inspire my own work because I like to include many elements into my work, so layering them in such a way will allow me to include many elements without cluttering the work.

    Hey! I'm not a huge fan of the way this is layered because it feels overwhelming and hard to process. Maybe it's because I know nothing about Marvel or Avengers, but I would hope that the poster for one of these movies would feel accessible to beyond just fans. I like a layering affect when it has a more artistic feel. Here, it feels like they threw in every character they could. I understand why they did it, but again, I'm more into an artistic layering than a literal layering. I do like how the flyer remains in balance, with characters taking the same shapes on either side of the flyer.

    Great Minds think alike! I also used the Avengers Infinity War poster.  I agree with Marlowe, the layout is chaotic. However, it screams the need for a hero that feeds into the movie. I think the designers made this poster for the real fans.
