I really think a conversation with Sutton would be beneficially especially right now. I think she is doing a great job of being transparent about the allocation of funds and an article would definitely help with that. Also I would love to hear from the baristas at Panther Perk.

I really love your Panther Perk idea! I remember some of the baristas talking about how they had minimal training on the equipment but I have enjoyed every experience I have had at Panther Perk

Clearly the people want a Panther Perk story. Give them what they want! I'd hope the story would include menu offerings, a description of the seating arrangements (does anyone sit in there right now?), and interviews from customers as well as baristas. When was the last time campus had a coffee shop? We had The Cellar in the 1990s but other than that I don't know.

Speaking of coffee, in 2019, the Birmingham Police Department was running an amazing program called Coffee With a Cop. Several BPD officers would go to area coffee shops and make themselves available to talk to anyone who was in there. I don't know if they are doing anything like that in the age of COVID, but maybe? I can try to figure out a way to connect with the BPD. Standby. Also, next class, please remind me to tell you and your classmates one Campo idea I have.

Otherwise, PLEASE O PLEASE do an SGA story. Are the meetings being held in person or virtually? I have long wished some student journalist would take on SGA as a beat. As in, attend every meeting and write about it.

A Halloween story is timely, of course.

I look forward to seeing what you choose!

I really like the story ideas of new mental health resources, support groups, and student organizations. Potentially, it would allow incoming freshmen to feel more safe and included during their first year with our current situation. Also, the conversation with a police officer would definitely be of interest to all.

I would be interested in what you think are the most important organizations on campus. What organizations have the most positive impacts on students? What organizations get students plugged in with the Birmingham community? What groups are underrated?

I think a lot of students (including myself) don't really know what the SGA president does. How does Sutton serve the student body? How is she listening to the needs of all students? How do her decisions directly affect the student body?

In regards to the "Best spots in Birmingham," best spots for what? Food, views, hiking, drinks, meeting places, or other? Birmingham has lots of different nooks and crannies. I've lived here a little over 15 years and I haven't come close to discovering what this city has to offer. I'd like to hear how you could narrow that story into something specific.
