   future features

   I love the phrase "controversial grill." Is that the car grill you started to draw the other day? I have a related followup suggestion that I'd like to share with you in class. Meanwhile, I really like the story on COVID and student athlete eligibility and hope you'll do that one first. 
   
   You have several other strong topics here. I wonder, how could you narrow the focus so that they are manageable stories? Take turkeys -- instead of trying to cover all the species in the U.S., could you pick a particular turkey prevalent in Alabama? Likewise COVID effect on sports.    I would like to see a turkey story in November. Also the comeback of SUV's is interesting. I know nothing about cars and didn't know they left. I've been to Barber Motorsports more times than I would like to admit (my dad races there) and you should 

   definitely go.

   I think the idea about how COVID has affected student athletes eligibility would be awesome. I still have no idea how it all is going to work but I have been told we each get an extra year?

   I knew that Hurley had been bought by Nike in the past ten years, but I didn't know that they had seperated from the megabrand. What caused the brand to split? Some people may not be familiar with Hurley as a seperate brand? What is the history behind the two brand's relationship?

   I know that you're a student athlete, so that would be an interesting story. Are you maintaining the skills and fitness that you need? Are you getting closer with your teammates? Have many of your teammates gone into quarantine? Has your coach developed a new training plan for the team this semester? What are the chances you get to play in the spring?

   I'm not a big car person, so the "grill" story is completely foreign to me (and I imagine most of our peers). If you could write the story in a way that interested us uninformed, that could be a really good idea.

   Well, it's almost not a car story. It's a vehicle story and the vehicle are the ridiculously cute and charming Crosstown Scooters: https://crosstownscooters.com. 

   I wish you would go rent one for an hour and write about the experience. 

   But, please, for the love of God, wear a helmet.
