    So many strong ideas. Good work!

    Let me show my gender bias and say I was gobsmacked by the wedding planning idea. You are the only guy I know who has pitched a wedding story. I hope you'll do it later in the semester, but other things first --

    1) Did you attend that film festival? A review would be great, but a secondhand review might not be as strong... unless the films are student films and available online.
    2) Greek life during COVID interests me. What's the angle?
    3) Football cancellation is interesting, though we're a month in.
    4) Basketball season interests me to. What's the angle there?

    A friend of a friend is the communications director at the Birmingham Zoo. Your pitch reminds me that I should write to him and see if we can visit as a class!

    Movie theaters during Covid-19 is really interesting. My brother-in-law is a film editor and he and most of his friends have been completely out of work. The movie industry as a whole has really suffered so I think you could find lots of good info!

    Birmingham Zoo and movie theaters during Covid-19 seem the most appealing to me. I feel like a lot of people would also be interested since many of them are ready to go back and somewhat enjoy their surroundings. It would be interesting to read about what people enjoy and hate about attending socially distanced events in general.

    I would love to read "What it's like to plan a wedding around Covid-19." I think it would be really cool to interview a bride-to-be and get her perspective on it.

    If there are any movie theaters open, I would love to read a story about the movie theater experience in 2020. I just recently went to a drive in theater about 15 minutes outside of Birmingham which could be fun to write about. As for the high school sports idea, my brother currently attends Homewood High School. Their football team has missed 3 games due to other schools forefitting. I also attended a wedding this summer via zoom, and that was quite the experience. I think the movie theater idea would be something to look into in my opinion.

    Story #2 Idea
    -For my 2nd story I'd like to do it on the BSC Theatre Department during Covid-19. I'd like to do some reporting about what the Theatre department is working on this semester and all of the difficulties they are having due to Covid restrictions. Will they be able to do any live shows this semester or will they have to wait?
