I am excited to play a pivotal role in producing the final JCMP report on Linn Park. On top of the Decade that I researched for the project I will help in reading all the reports for all the decades and writing a summarization for those decades to put into the report. I will develpp greater organization skills, time management and a more stronger overall perspective on Linn park throughout its existence. I will learn the larger role that the park played in Birminghams racist history. I am excited to educate myself further on these topics, history is the great teacher on how we can better ourselves and our community.

Hey! What decade did you research? What have you learned so far? Anything that you didn't know of before? I think that this can be interesting to read/look at when it is complete! Is this something that we could get to read? I think that you saying that "history is the great teacher" is an important part in all of this because people don't realize that history does play a huge part in our lives. Understanding the past helps to develop the future and you are doing this by conducting this research project.

I echo Natalie - will you share your report with us when it's ready? (even if it's not for several months)

How will what you learn through your research impact your life going forward? You have all this knowledge, but so what? How will you live/act differently in the future because of what you know?
