Inaccurate Representations

I believe strongly that inaccurate representations of individuals with exceptionalities lend themselves to misunderstandings and judgement. I've heard it said that "If you've met one person with autism, you've met one person with autism". In other words, no one person with autism is exactly like another. Of course this can be said about all individuals, but we tend to judge those who are different than we are. We tend to lump them into "them" instead of seeing them as individuals that stand alone. What do you think?
