Now that you've been introduced to color and its' various uses, it's time to explore on your own.
Research and find a color scheme that appeals to you. You can search Google or Pinterest for a color scheme from a movie or show you love, or you can use a tool like Adobe Color to find a color based on a location or theme you love.
Once you've found a theme, post it here, and explain how you think it can be effectively applied to branding, interactive designs, websites, video, etc. Try to explore at least two uses for your color scheme.

The color theme from American Horror Story: Coven (season 3) relies on sharp dark/light contrasts to parallel the dualistic nature of practicing magic: what goes around comes back around twofold. The only colors featured in most scenes are dark, neutral tones associated with candlelight and deep blood reds, creating an appropriately hypnotic and sinister atmosphere. The witches, living together in a totally black-and-white manor and wearing black at all times, either have blonde, dark brown/black, or red hair. The lighting, which cloaks all scenes and seems to only fully illuminate reds, conveys what the world might look like to a jaded witch able to bend reality as she pleases. Altogether, the consistent color scheme holds viewers in suspense and sucks them into the dangerous, mystic realm of Creole witchcraft.

The Purple/Blue Palette is relaxing and can be used in bathrooms for relaxation. In branding, these colors could be used in a Caper commercial to promote the comfort of their newest bed.
The Living Rooms colors are light which can make a room feel open and spacious. In branding, these colors could be used to make the company look laid back but still big.

One use for the color scheme could be for nostalgia marketing. When I see these colors, I do think of the past and good things associated with it. I could see a company using this palette for an advertisement.
Another use could be for a video game. With open-world games being popular, I could see these calming colors being used to put the player at ease while exploring before finding a spectacular location.

I chose this color scheme because of the light and darker color of the blue. The colors of the scheme would go well in branding and websites. The colors are bright and dark enough for a logo.

I chose the Disney movie, Finding Nemo, as my color scheme. I think the vibrant colors from the movie, really makes it attractive to children, making them want to see the movie just by the colors.
