In five years, I hope I would be working at some sort of tech company. I want to attend grad school.

I definitely see myself living in LA, NYC, San Fran, etc. Wherever I can get my ducks in a row. I'm trying to get out into the world and work with tech creatives at a cool company, so I feel like I need to reach beyond Birmingham. I want to work some place that is progressive and up-and-coming. I need the excitement! I know I will graduate from BSC, and probably work for a year or two to determine where the money is, and then go to grad school to pursue a higher education in whatever I discover during the year of working. I will probably stay in Birmingham while working after graduation, saving and planning for when I can go to grad school in the city. My dream right now is New York, but things change and I'm trying to keep my options open!
In 5 or 10 years I see myself possibly in some sort of commercial and residential development. That would be ideal. I always have a past and fall back plan of computer science. To achieve this I will see where each step might lead me and always put more work in than that which is required of me.
In 5 years I hope to have a decent job and stable. In 10 years I hope I am able to start a family. To get there, I plan on continuing to network as I meet people and continue to finish my college career strong.
Ideally in 5-10 years I will be back outside and in society! On a more serious note, honestly just wherever I think has the right vision and passion to make valuable products. I know I will be in the Computer Science world, but I like to leave my options open.
In 5 years, I hope to be a BSC alumni and also have a masters degree. My top three options are prosthetics and orthotics, bioinformatics, and cybersecurity. I believe any option will be great, it will all depend on my pre requisite classes and GRE score. In 10 years, I hope to be at a stable job with any one of these degrees. I already have/ and have planned internship hours. I have a linked-in, still in progress, and I also have a handshake.
I think that my possibilities are endless. I would love to be able to use art and technology and have that be my job. I really think that there are some crazy opportunities for what I want to do. My current dream job is working for Artechhouse at any of their locations. They work with immersive art and projection mapping. I think that they are able to convey so many emotions with that and it can be really moving. Things that I am doing to get there is working with generative art programs and seeing how I can develop for VR because I think that will be really amazing in the future.
In 5 years I see myself graduated and in some sort of CS job field living in an apartment with friends so the rent is cheeper. I also see myself looking for bigger opportunities after I have been in the CS field for a full year and have hope that that experience will lead me to bigger things. I am hopeful at the 10 year mark I will have moved around Nashville TN and have a better job for a more long term career to support myself and and hopefully a family one day. Steps that can push m towards this are internships, talking to people in the workforce, and searching for opportunities in the places that I want to go. It is going to take hard work to get me to these places.
I don't know for sure what I will be doing but I would love to be working for some brand or organization on their digital marketing / media team. My mom works for Visit Orlando and I would love to be working there in their social media department; promoting Orlando to tourists around the world making it a place where people will want to visit for years to come. It is a growing city and I am very excited to see what the future holds for it in the future and how I can be a part of it.
I cannot see where I will be in 5 years or in 10 years, but I do know I would be wanting to work at a tech company. Steps that I can take there are to get as much experience I can get in internships so that I can build a strong resume.
I am not really sure where I see myself 5-10 years from now, but I do know I want to work for a big tech company or for the FBI.
In the next five years, I plan to be BSC alumni working with a company that allows me to the skills I've gained from achieving my degree. The job will pay well enough for me to move out of my parents' house and begin saving for my next big move. In ten years I see myself living comfortably in Chicago, Illinois still working in CS.
