Where is the impetus for Lightening Cat and Wolverine to fight? I don't see a motive for either one to engage in a conflict. However, I lean towards Lightening Cat because while there are myriad images of Wolverine displaying his superpowers, images of Lightening Cat are less than ubiquitous. This leads me to the conclusion that Lightening Cat has powers undisclosed to the public, and therefore will use them when provoked.

I know I'm late to the game here but anyways,
I feel like the Wolverine would win because of his long dagger claws, but also the lighting cat could win all because of his ability to shoot lightning out his paws.
I am not the type to trash talk Logan the Wolverine, but a cat that can shoot lightning is a pretty scary thought. Cats are evil enough, they do not need lightning.
As someone who is subscribed to Marvel's Wolverine podcast, I'm going with Wolverine. And yes, it's because I'm biased. Also, a power not mentioned in the lesson is that he is immortal.
I don't know how anger or grumpiness is a power. If it is, then I guess I'm pretty powerful then!
I had not previously heard of Lightning Cat before this lesson, but after this lesson I feel like I have learned quite a bit about who Lightning Cat is. With that being said I still am unsure of the complete background of Lightning Cat and I would like to pose the question: why does such a small cat have such a large fan base?
A question on my mind is that if Wolverine is one of the most popular X-Men, doesn't that technically serve as a large fan base like the one Lightning Cat has? I also think that Lightning Cat has an advantage because he can strike from a distance whereas Wolverine can only strike up close.
I was confused as to why being angry and grumpy was listed as a superpower. That seems like an undesirable trait unless Wolverine could somehow use it to his advantage.
I think wolverine would win because his claws are much bigger than the cats; however, wolverine would be easily struck by lightning if his claw/dagger hands are made of metal.
While wolverine may have knives on his hands like Freddy Crougar, he has nothing against the awe inspiring power of lightning that lightning cat inherits his name from.
I have never heard of Lightening cat and I am curious to how he got his powers.
It made me realize that it would depend on the circumstance as to who would win. If Lightening Cat had his back turned, and was unaware, then Wolverine could get close enough to do some damage with his dagger claws. But what if Lightening Cat was always front facing Wolverine, then would Wolverine even have a chance? To use Wolverine's super powers, he would have to get close enough. Therefore, the circumstance would play a huge role.
This lesson has changed my life. Never once have I just stopped to think about how hard life might be for Wolverine, being so clearly inferior to Lightning Cat. It must be so hard to constantly live in the shadow of Lightning Cat.
How long could lightening cat shoot lightening out of his paws, and after he does is he fast enough to run away from wolverine or does he have fighting skills as well?
When watching the video, I started to wonder why Lighting Cat and Wolverine were fighting in the first place. Also, I wondered if Lightning Cat can shoot lightning from all his paws or just the two that are not being stood on.
Since I do not know much about lightening cat or wolverine here is a fun gut fact that is up to date with the current opiate epidemic: Your gut has opiate receptors just like your brain. Your gut is just as susceptible to addiction as your brain and may be one of the main contributing factors to the difficulty addicts have quitting.
This has made me rethink my knowledge. I had never even heard of Lightening Cat. How did he get his powers? How did he even become popular among people? Is it just because our generation believes and finds everything fascinating? I had never even heard of it, much less knew it even had powers.
This lesson got me thinking much deeper about who the best X-man is. Why IS Wolverine so popular? He definitely doesn't have the best abilities, and he's kind of a jerk. Long kitty claws and rippling muscles are not that great. Do X-men fans identify with him because of his past? Because he is a complex character? Are fans sympathetic to him because they can more easily identify with his emotional struggles?
