ADHD

A couple of takeaways for me from the videos and the powerpoint were the different types of ADHD, the levels of severity, and the different treatment options for ADHD. My previous understanding of ADHD was a hyperactive child who needed medication to behave in school. I also learned that ADD is an outdated term, and that it falls in with ADHD inactivity. The variety of medicine and doses of medicine was interesting as well as the fact that addiction is a low risk for people who take ADHD medication. One thing that surprised me in one of the videos was the amount of historical figures that had or was suspected to have ADHD. Some of the smartest people in the world like Bill Gates and Albert Einstein being linked with ADHD shows that it's not something that will hold someone back from achieving big things in their life.

ADHD

As a person who may potentially have ADHD and I also went to school with a lot of kids with ADHD I thought I had a good grasp of it. But I really like the way that the video said what ADHD was. How it is an issue with regulating where the person's attention goes.
