This week in lab we are going to complete our comparative analysis of industrial versus residential microbial diversity and heavy metal resistance. As a group we'll begin to compile and analyze the data to construct our first draft of figure 1, the materials and methods section, and the results section that goes with it. 

Before lab this week, please do the following:

  1. Read Lab Knisely (pgs. 59-80)
  2. Pre-lab Quiz 3 is due before lab.
  3. Materials and Methods Worksheet (pg. 63) and Draft (typed and printed) due in lab.
  4. Draft the graphs of your Sloss CFU and Diversity Data (pg. 81) using this data (https://moodle.bsc.edu/pluginfile.php/488688/mod_page/content/6/Zn%20Sloss%20CFU%20and%20Biodiversity%20Data%20F20.xlsx).
  5. Complete the Campus Scavenger hunt (details in last week's lab materials).  You must be present in at least one of the images to receive credit (Due Thursday, September 24th by 5 pm).
